Thanksgiving Holiday Shipping Schedule

Nina Designs will be closed Thursday, November 28th & Friday, November 29th. We will resume processing and shipping orders Monday, December 2nd. Please note: Orders may be slightly delayed due to the backlog.

UPS & USPS do not deliver on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th. All delivery times will be delayed by one day, including expedited packages.


 

December Holiday Shipping Schedule 

Nina Designs will be closed December 23rd thru January 1st, 2020. No orders will be processed or shipped during this time. Friday, December 20th is the last day orders will ship before our Holiday Closure. 

Recommended Last Day to Ship for Dec 24th Delivery. Orders must be received by 12pm (Noon) PST. 

  • Friday, December 13th, last day for UPS Ground Service
  • Thursday, December 19th, last day for UPS 3-Day Service
  • Thursday, December 19th, last day for USPS Priority Mail
  • Friday, December 20th, last day for UPS 2-Day Service
  • Friday, December 20th, last day for UPS Overnight Service

 

Friday, December 20th is last day for orders to ship before our Holiday Closure. Orders must be received by 12pm PST.  For December 24th delivery please use UPS 2-Day or UPS Overnight service. 


 

What are the Time-in-Transit estimates for each shipping method?

We do our best to ship orders on the same or next day as received. However, depending on how busy we are, this is not always possible. Expedited orders must be received before 12 pm (Noon) Pacific time if they are to go out the same day. Very occasionally, we are unable to get expedited orders placed before 12pm out the same day -please call to discuss if you absolutely need an order by a certain day.

How soon will my order ship out after I submit it?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Pacific Time. Please note that our office is closed on the weekends and we do not process any orders on Saturday or Sunday.

We process orders in the order they are received, with UPS expedited shipping methods receiving priority. For example, UPS Overnight, DHL and USPS International Priority Express orders are processed first, then 2-Day orders, then 3-Day orders, then UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail. A UPS Ground order received at 10 am will be processed before a UPS Ground order received at 12 pm. A UPS 2-Day order received at 12 pm will be processed before all other UPS Ground orders that came before it.

We always try to ship orders on the same or next day as received. How can I ensure my order will ship the same day I place it?

We prioritize processing orders that select expedited shipping. Expedited orders must be received before 12 pm (Noon) Pacific time if they are to go out the same day.

Expedited shipping methods include UPS Overnight, 2-day and 3-day, DHL and USPS Internation Priority Express.


 

FREE SHIPPING. How does it work?

FREE SHIPPING is valid in the USA only Not valid on international shipments. Eligible customers must select this option during checkout in order to receive FREE SHIPPING. No adjustments on previous purchases. Offer is subject to change without notice. If you choose FREE SHIPPING, your order will arrive within 3-7 days after it leaves our office. Delivery confirmation is available for all shipments. Call us at 1-800-336-6462 if your order has not arrived after 14 days. At that time we will launch an investigation that can take up to 5 days. Orders with FREE SHIPPING will ship USPS 1st Class Mail; however, we reserve the right to ship with UPS at our discretion. 

Orders with FREE SHIPPING are processed after all orders with paid shipping options.


 

How do I know when my order has shipped?

All orders shipped from Nina Designs are trackable. You can log into your account, go to "Account", "Order History", and under Status there will be a tracking number which will indicate that a label has been created and your order is prepared to ship. You can copy and paste this tracking number into the Shipping Carrier website to track the status of your package. USPS packages can be tracked directly from USPS.com. UPS tracking is available on their site, UPS.com.

Please note that our office is closed on the weekends and we do not process any orders on Saturday or Sunday.


 

What if my order is later than expected?

Depending on your shipping method, your order can take up to 14 days to reach you (from the time it leaves our office). Please review our Estimated Time in Transit chart to track how long your package should take after it has been picked up by the shipping carrier.

If your order has not arrived after the timeline outlined above, please do the following:

-Track your package online to see it’s current status. 
-If your tracking information says the package was delivered, it is possible your package has been delivered to a neighbor or your home without you knowing. Please check with any neighbors, doormen, roommates or house guests. It’s fairly common for a package to have been delivered and someone else signs for it.
-If the tracking information has not been updated or is unclear, please email us at: nina@ninadesigns.com or call our office at 1-800-336-6462. We are happy to file a claim with UPS or USPS on your behalf and work to find a solution.

Please Note: UPS does not guarentee delivery dates when delays are caused by severe weather or when transportation networks are disrupted beyond the control of UPS. If your package is delayed due to these unforseen circumstances we cannot reimburse or refund shipping fees. Visit the UPS Service Alerts webpage to see if your package could be affected. 


 

Can I use my own shipping account?

Yes. If you are located in the United States and have your own UPS account you may call or leave a note in your order comments with your UPS Account Number. If you are international and have your own UPS account, e-mail us at nina@ninadesigns.com to arrange shipping. Please select the shipping method of your choice and we will remove any shipping fees prior to invoicing your order.


 

Is UPS shipping available everywhere?

We offer UPS shipping to customers in the continental United States, as well as to international customers. Unfortunately, UPS is not available for customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands or Guam. Please select USPS Priority Mail.

UPS will not deliver to a domestic Post Office Box. If you are shipping to a PO Box, please select USPS Priority mail shipping.

We do not offer UPS Saturday Delivery.


 

What are your Canadian Shipping Options?

We have several shipping options for our Canadian customers. You can select USPS Priority Mail to Canada for a flat rate of $30 and delivery between 6-10 days. Any additional duties and taxes are the customers responsibility. Please note that we do not refund any customs, import duties or taxes on returns or exchanges.

You may also select the following:

International Express Mail for $50.00 and delivery between 3-7 days. 
DHL International Express for $65.00 (additional remote area service fee of $30 may apply)
UPS International Express for $60.00 (additional remote area service fee of $30 may apply)
*Any additional duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility. 


 

What are your International shipping options?

We offer several shipping options for International customers. You may choose UPS International Express, DHL International Express, USPS International Express Mail, or USPS International Priority Mail.

Please note that the shipping rates listed do not include any customs, import duties or taxes that could be incurred when the package reaches your destination country. Any additional duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility. We do not refund any customs, import duties or taxes on returns or exchanges.

Both UPS and DHL will charge an additional $30 when the delivery destination is remote. We will review your UPS or DHL shipping address and will apply the additional $30 to your order if applicable. Visit DHL or UPS to check an address for a Remote Area Service fee.

Due to the complicated nature of international shipping, we are not able to accommodate any shipping methods other that the above outlined options.

What if I make an error when entering my shipping address?

Please take care to correctly enter your shipping address. Call us at 1-800-336-6462 or email us immediately should you notice a mistake on your shipping address so that we may correct the mistake before shiping your order. An incorrect address will delay your order, result in lost merchandise, and incur additional fees. You are responsible for any fees incurred to correct your shipping address. We will charge the fees to the same credit card used to place your order.
